Join us on Friday, October 3rd from 4:00–10:00 PM as the Jaycees partner with the Naperville Heritage Society as a 2025 Community Partner! We’ll be volunteering at Naper Settlement’s Annual Oktoberfest, helping serve drinks to concert guests and keeping the fun flowing. Check-in: 201 W. Porter Avenue

Camping Weekend 10/17-10-19/2025
Escape to the outdoors as we enjoy a weekend away from the rigors of technology and our busy lives. Pack your vehicle for a short 1.25-1.5hrs drive north to Zion, IL to enjoy all that the Adeline Jay Geo-Karis Illinois Beach State Park has to offer.
Location, Location, Location:
We have currently have 9 sites (206-213) reserved; in proximity to the bathhouse (flush toilets/showers) and beach access. Additional sites will be reserved as needed. Site cost is $55 for the weekend (2 nights) and includes an electrical hook-up.
Campfire Cook-Off: What’s your favorite campfire recipe?
Friday “dinner” will be self-serve, but we would like to do group meals for Saturday (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and Sunday (breakfast). Registrants will be sent a sign-up genius link to indicate which “item(s) type” they’re bringing to share.
FAQ:
· But I can’t camp the whole weekend…No problem. You are welcome to join us for one or both nights. We just need a “primary name” to put on the reservation.
· I love the outdoors but can’t stay the night…Come hangout during the day!
· I want to bring my friends…PLEASE DO! The more, the merrier!!!
· I registered but now have to cancel…That’s ok! Cancellations are allowed up to 5days prior
· A “family” consists of either or both parents and their minor children. A “single group” consists of 4 adults (18+)
· No more than two tents OR a trailer + tent per site
· Leashed pets are allowed (not on beach) but must not be left unattended
· Campers MUST check into the campground by 10:00 p.m. Checkout is 3pm

Directions from the South: I-294 north to Rt 173 east (approx. 8 miles) to Sheridan Road. Make a right on Sheridan Road to Wadsworth Road, make a left and you will be in the park.
